Starting w the basics: shopping malls & outlets.

現在, 你對美國可看到的ㄧ些品牌有了基本的了解, 我們繼續往第二部分邁進--購物場所.
從基本的購物中心及暢貨中心開始吧. 


There are a so many shopping malls in LA, probably more than any other places in the country. Basically, malls are a group of brand stores linking with a few department stores, such as Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Macy’s, JC Penny, etc.
大ＬＡ有非常多的購物中心, 或許是美國境內最多購物中心的地區. 基本上, mall是由一群品牌的商店及些許百貨公司組成, 百貨公司在各個角落, 彼此之間由這些許多商店購成的長廊環繞而成.

 

 

 

In the States, even department stores have status, hierarchy.  U can kinda tell even from the looks & content of their websites.
在美國, 即使百貨公司也有高中低等階級之分. 你甚至可以從他們的網站外觀及內容窺知一二.

The most up-scale: 價位最高, 東西賣得最高級, 大多賣designer brands, 通常要是在M型頂端的人才買得起裡面商品的百貨公司

The Upscale: 高級百貨公司. 有許多designer brands, 但也有較平價的商品. 可說是中產階級的最愛.

·         Nordstrom (http://shop.nordstrom.com/C/2375500/0~2375500): 我個人是很喜歡逛Nordstrom, 因為讓人感覺高級卻不會有距離感. 裡面的鞋子, 包包, 跟化妝品等都非常好逛. 一樓通常都是鞋子, 包包, 飾品, 化妝品及男生的鞋子和衣服. 鞋子與包包都從中階的品牌到高階的都有. (但是balenciaga就買不到了) 二樓屬於女裝區. 分為三個部分: 運動休閒區, 高級女裝區, 以及平價女裝飾品區. ....今天先寫到這, 待續.

The 2nd Tier: 大部分商品較為平價, 也是幾乎到處都有, 人人可逛的百貨公司. 但相對於上兩層而言, 層次也就差了許多. 我個人是很不喜歡逛, 因為覺得亂糟糟的, 逛起來很沒目的的感覺.
