im glad i brought these things back,

even though i dont count cards,

21 is still a pretty good movie.

one of my favs, actually.

 

even though i dont gamble,

vegas is still a pretty fun place.

one of my fav get-aways, actually.

 

as i was watchin 21 all over again tonite,

i couldnt help but think about all those super fun vegas trips.

Vegas,

is like my backyard,

while LA is my home.

 

i miss LA & vegas soooooooooooo much!

in LA, u can be urself.

in Vegas, u can become anyone u want.

 
記得我幾個星期前寫說我去逛South Coast Plaza,
順便去吃Taiko跟Yogurtland嗎?

我知道我欠了大家很久都沒寫....
那天在south coast照了很多相片,
這一兩天就會補上放在Shopping in LA 101 時尚洛杉磯逛街購物指南- Shopping Malls, Basic 購物中心/暢貨中心 基本篇 裡.

 
再過不到一個星期,

我就要離開我愛的LA了.

心中感覺很複雜, 也很難形容.


這幾天忙著處理大大小小的雜事,

順便再過過已成為習慣的LA生活.

試著讓自己正常的過著每一天.


一切的一一切都自然地讓我覺得很不真實,

很難想像我真的要走了.

i've been in LA 4 too long that i thought i would be here 4ever.
..........................................that i got too comfortable w my surroundings.
..........................................that i took everything n everyone 4 granted.

pixnet掛了好幾天,
這幾天都沒辦法update :-(
終於現在修好了....

but...im going out on a vacation, plus my good friend Welton n cousin Ash r gonna come visit,
so, i probably dont have much time to update.
but, i promise i'll do the best i can :-)


順便寫個小插曲...

那天我去south coast plaza, 平常不塞車應該一個鐘頭之內絕對會到,
沒想到那天大塞車, 整整塞了兩個小時,
塞到我都快跳車了!
guess wut happened?!

車禍!!!　(if u live in LA, tis easy to guess...)

但是看到現場以後, 真的是怵目驚心啊!!!

運貨的那種聯結車, 整個燒起來, 燒到都快不見了！！！
(照片改天再附上...因為現在pixnet相簿功能還沒開啟~)

還好裡面沒人, 要不然我真的不敢想像....

大家在LA開車一定要小心啊! 我以前是飆車一族, 但是現在人老了, 膽子也變小了...

maybe it's a good thing?...

今天為大家去south coast plaza照照片取材了....
但好幾次都被店員還有security說裡面不可以照相....真是奇怪了, 明明就是開放空間, why cant i take pics?!
不過呢....我還是用我的iphone偷照了超多...hehe...

逛完還順便去taiko吃飯跟隔壁的yogurtland吃冰照相...

明天要去Malibu跟getty villa.
順便看有沒有新的好吃的cafe或好逛的地方,
回來再跟大家報告囉~

昨天去Santa Monica的Musha吃飯,
在等的當時 很無聊
忽然看到一個路人停在我前面對著我面前的那輛車猛用手機照相...
之後, 又有人路過, 也在笑.
禁不住好奇心,
看了看那台車到底有啥特別...不是就是一台要賣的車嗎?


仔細看了一下,
笑死我...



看到了嗎...這台鳥車要賣 五"萬"塊美金?!!!

五萬塊美金可以買infiniti, lexus, acura等都夠了還有剩....我的Acura TSX也三萬多而已...

這個人不是白癡不會算數學多寫一個零, 就是搞笑...
但是 ...
又不夠幽默...

到底是哪種呢?...大家自己判斷吧~

話說這幾天都沒什麼更新,
很對不起有在看的人.

只是,
這幾天真的太忙了.
忙著打包, 清理房子, 賣家具....

原來滿滿的家裡,
現在快清空了.

(我不是只會買東西喔, 我也是會很勤勞打掃的!!!--呼應本篇title)

我承認我東西不少啦, 我大概包了22個大箱, 5個小箱, 兩個超大行李箱, 外加一個小的carry-on.

晚點再擺照片上來給大家看b4 & after 吧....

只是紫色的沙發真是不好賣啊...
(雖然說它真的是一個很comfy,很大, 很棒的沙發...
但是像我這麼"新潮"的人實在不太多...ha...)

remember i listed all those places to go on july 4th?
i ended up going to none of them..ha...

on our way to huntington

we ended up going to huntington beach at about 1.2 pm...

here we r.



there were soooooooo many ppl already...tents, ppl everywhere.
(our friend went there around 3 or 4 AM....built a tent, slept there...just to get us a spot.)



full of ppl...

guys were grilling, playing beach volleyball... and girls were strolling, tanning...



george n jim were playing volleyball, a kid came to join them...so cute..

we were just waiting for the fireworks at 9.

and BBQ marshmellow while waiting...


Finally, the fireworks started!!!

the fireworks were amazing, lasting 4 about 20 mins!
it was a very chillin july 4th.

經過幾天辛苦的打包,

我決定pamper myself a bit.

So, 我去Valley上的ㄧ家足浴做腳底按摩.

只能說...

很爽啊!!! esp. the neck, back n shoulder massage (外加$8 就可以).

Valley上有很多腳底按摩店, 品質琛疵不齊.

我做過很好的, 也做過不怎樣的.

Hilton Plaza裡跟漢生堂合作的足浴就屬於貴, 但是按得普通的 (雖然他們有couple room, 就是可以兩個人在同一間房間分別被兩位師傅按).

 

我下面介紹的這家算貴的, 但是真的好很多. 第一次去收費$25, 按摩大概一小時.

除了每家都有的藥浴, 這家還會在膝蓋幫你綁上熱熱的pad, 眼睛上放上冰冰的眼模(eye mask)把眼睛蓋住, 然後可以整個打下躺平的椅子, 加上讓人放鬆的自然輕音樂,

非常舒服.

配上專業的按摩,

想不睡著都很難!!!

不過他們的按摩方式有些變了,

以前是比較注重在穴道指壓,

有時會按到痛到讓人快叫出來. (但是我很喜歡按很重的, 會覺得很痛快..ha...每次不管去哪按, 師傅都會說我很受力, 所以我都會請他們盡量用力沒關係...)

不過現在減少很多壓穴道跟筋,

改用比較西式的按摩法.

雖然我比較喜歡以前那種很痛的, 但是現在這樣也不錯啦~

去過這家的人都蠻喜歡的,

想試試腳底按摩的人不妨來這邊試試,

雖然貴了些(一般店家都是$15),

但是真的好很多, 店的質感好很多, 很有氣氛, 然後師傅的技術也比較穩定, 比較好. (台灣人開的, 難怪, ha...)

這裡也有全身按摩,

但是就還好, 還是足浴比較好, 還會附上ㄧ杯茶跟一盤梅子

最近這幾天都忙著打包, 賣東西..

(ok, 我承認我東西有點太多....but i thought i was gonna be here forever, who knows, rite....)

終於漸漸有了要搬出去的感覺.

but it's kinda sad too.



所以啦....這兩三天關於shopping in LA的update就有點慢啦....因為沒啥空逛街 ...

im not really a boba milk tea fan,
i mean, im not against it, i just dont esp like it.
but seriously,
volcano tea's jasmine milk tea totally changed how i feel about milk tea,
i had no idea a really nice milk tea can be so good n addictive!



i remember the first time my friend took me there n told me they had the best boba milk tea,
i didnt really take it seriously...cuz i thought....
comin' from tw, the origin of boba milk tea, i should have tasted all the good ones...
n none of them really impressed me.
so, how different can it be..all milk tea tastes the same, rite?!
but then when i had my first sip...i was like...OMG! this is really good!
i had absolutely no idea how good a milk tea could be!
ever since that sip, i became obsessed w their jasmine milk tea!
(n of course, part of the reason i like it is cuz it's JASMINE...my name...j/k)



So today, i went there w my friend and bought 2 cups,
cuz one is never enough! 

(shoot...can u believe that i'm actually shooting a milk tea? hilarious, huh?!)
