話說之前去hollister的時候, 
店員問我有沒有去過Gilly Hicks, 我整個愣住, 第一次聽不懂人家問我甚麼...
她看我一臉茫然, 就說他們公司(A&F, Hollister, Ruehl's)新開了一家店叫 Gilly Hicks ...
(又是一個很奇怪的名字, 而且還寫著大大的Sydney)
目前整個加州只有Americana跟Santa Anita Mall有, 是賣內衣的.

(關於Gilly Hicks的由來, 有個不短的故事...過幾天再補上...因為周末我要休息去啦!...順便多照點照片回來)

"Crystal Rock" has officially become my new fave!

要介紹Crystal Rock 就一定得介紹Christian Audigier, 那也就一定會提到Ed Hardy 還有smet.
這幾個牌子如同他們在Melrose上的店一樣, 是串連在一起, 分不開的.
就讓我們從Christian Audigier開始介紹吧.

甚麼是LA Style?
LA style的重點就是"Dress Down"....wear everything with a sense of relaxed ease.

大家就大概可以了解了.

-LA shopping caters to this too-cool crowd anyway, hyper-trendy fashion that might be excruciatingly expensive, but is meant to be worn with relaxed ease. Angelenos love dressing down and shopping. A young beauty could sport the same outfit boot-cut 7 for all Mankind jeans, Jimmy Choos and a slinky cami at the Ivy as she could at In-N-Out Burger. And while she might shop at the omnipresent Mall, she probably also cruises the eclectic boutiques that line Third Street and Robertson, Beverly and Melrose Boulevards. 打折時間:

 * Memorial Day--Semi-Annual Sale: 從5/30開始, 所有的stores都開始陸續打折. 打多少不太一定, 不過outlet是一定大打折的. Rodeo Dr. 的那些大名牌店有些也會開始打折, 從六月多開始, 通常以Dior, YSL的折扣數會比較多, up to 60% off, 要搶要快, 到七月就已經所剩不多了.
 * July 4th--one of the biggest sale events in the yr, up to 70% off. 幾乎所有的店都大打折, A|X, Zara等...這時候買東西應該算是summer買東西最划算的時候了.
 * July 19th- Aug 3rd--Nordstrom Annual Sale
 * Thanksgiving--為一年一次的Xmas大打折暖身. 就像memorial day一樣, 開始陸續打折. 但是折扣跟items有限.
 * Xmas--全年打折最多的時候, 要買東西就要趁這個時候, 絕對划算. 早起去排隊當early birds等著搶購東西都是正常的. 這時候各大商店都是一團混亂. 大家就盡力而為吧:P http://www.sephora.com

   http://www.shopkitson.com : 好萊塢明星最愛的店之一, 想要跟celeb穿得一樣時尚, 年輕嗎? 就來這! ....但是建議大家不要買飾品, 儘管有nicole richie, paris hilton當他們的活廣告, 但是kitson的accessories質感真的不好, 又超級over-priced. 除非你錢太多, 我是不建議買.
   http://www.shopintuition.com : 與kitson同樣, 也是一堆好萊塢明星逛的店. 美國各大時裝或八卦雜誌都會看到明星穿他們家的衣服. 東西的price我覺得比kitson合理得多, 有從平價20幾塊的到很貴的都有, 飾品也是. 但是能不能挑到物美價廉的好貨要看運氣.
   http://patriciafield.com: Sex and the City最大功臣--stylist Patricia Field的個人品牌網站. 想要Carrie所穿帶配件跟衣服的美眉們不妨來這裡晃晃. 但是我覺得她的很多衣服太extreme, 如果穿在路上走, 一定會引來異樣的眼光..ha...
   http://www.shopbop.com : 年輕人間流行的牌子這裡都有, 像是有名的牛仔褲牌子-7, AG, Chp & Pepper, Citizens of Humanity, Earnest Sewn, Hudson, J Brand, Joe's, Paige, Siwy, True Religion, William Rast (歌手Justin Timberlake與好友一起設計成立的牛仔褲牌) 等...
   同時還有well-known,很多celebrities喜歡的牌子-Alice + Olivia, Anna Sui, Botkier(年輕hollywood celebs很喜歡的包包牌子), C&C California, Cynthia Rowley, Diane Von Furstenberg (由貴族變成設計師), Free People, Jill Stuart, Juicy Couture, Kenneth Jay Lane (Nicole Richie等年輕一代celebs很喜歡的飾品牌子, 最出名的有草莓項鍊, tiger bangle等), Kooba(如同Botkier, 新興的年輕潮流包包品牌), LeSportsac(很多年輕人喜歡的包包牌子, 以其可愛鮮豔的圖案及多功能性出名), Rag & Bone, Rebecca Minkoff, Rebecca Taylor, Sass & Bide, Theory, Twelfth St. by Cynthia.    http://www.shopLA.com : 我最近發現的網站, 價錢公道, free shipping, 效率很高, 我兩天就收到了! 上面很多現在celebs喜歡的品牌, 大家可以上去看看.
   http://www.fashionchateau.com: 與revolve clothing類似的網站, 也是以designer denims為主. 先附上下面一段英文的介紹, 有空再翻譯給大家看.

·         3^rd St. Promenade: (http://www.thirdstreetpromenade.com/bvisitors.html) LA很有名的逛街地方, 離著名的Santa Monica(聖塔摩尼卡)海灘非常近, 走路即可到. 大家可以在海灘上晃晃再來這邊逛街 (但是這邊海灘有很多流浪漢, 所以常常很臭. personally, i dont really like it). 時時都有街頭藝人在此表演. 也很多celebrities來逛. 大部分年輕跟基本的牌子這都有, 例如 Adidas, American Eagle Outfitters, A&F, A|X, anthropologie, GAP, victoria's secret, bebe, Express, fossil, french connection, Guess, united colors of benetton, rip curl, urban outfitters, J. Crew, BR,  比較特別的是有Zara, Miss Sixty/Energie, Diesel, puma, adidas等. Also, 這裡的Forever 21很大, 東西很多, 還蠻好逛的. 另外, 這還有一家很特別的CD店, 是starbucks開的, 叫做Hear Music. 裡面有比較多平常cd店不易見到的CD. 對於new age, alternatives, jazz等音樂有興趣的人不妨去逛逛, 裡面還有很多music station可以試聽, 大家可以同時一邊喝咖啡. 此外, 在美國並不常見的創意沐浴用品品牌Lush也在這邊有一家店. 著名的Sephora美妝連鎖店, 這裡當然也有. 
在Santa Monica Plaza因整修關閉後, 平日大家停車的停車場也因此關閉. 大家現在可以停4th St接近Broadway的public parking. 可以直接通道3rd St. Promenade. first two hours停車不用錢. 這裡比較少人知道, 所以也比較有容易找到車位, 大家來這裡實不妨停這裡.

很適合走路的地方

for some reason 我總覺得urban outfitters亂亂的, 衣服不好挑, 但是他們很多好玩的小東西.

still--urban outfitters...主要都是賣很casual的衣服, 像是t-shirts, tops, dresses, accessories, hats等等


女生最愛逛的Steve Madden鞋店, 價錢還蠻平價, 鞋子也還不算太難穿. 流行的款式這邊一定有, 也算是指標性的鞋店.

inside Miss Sixty-santa monica這家miss sixty/energie蠻小的, 東西不算太多,一下就可以逛完.

每家Miss Sixty的店都會有他家特定風格的設計, 例如這些像鳥巢般的fitting room


喝膩或anti-starbucks的人可以來喝另一家著名咖啡連鎖店"the coffee bean & tea leaf"的咖啡

也可以來這家pizza店吃點pizza...聽說還不錯吃~

南加除了south coast plaza外難得一見的mango. 衣服簡單,大方, 有設計. 有適合OL穿的, 也有適合平常休閒穿的. 價格也算是很平價. 他們還跟Milla Jovovich跟Penelope Cruz合作設計過幾個系列~ 雖然台灣也有, 但是跟這邊賣的東西很不一樣, 這邊的mango很colorful也比較活潑年輕.

 ·         The Grove: (http://www.thegrovela.com/) 全LA我最愛的地方之一, 室外的entertainment, dining, shopping三合一的生活廣場. 最出名的你一進入即可看見的fountain. 同時還有免費的tram可以搭乘, 帶您環繞the grove 一圈. 此外, 在草坪的地方, 周末有時還有樂團表演. 有nordstrom及barney's. A&F的西岸旗艦店也在此. 想要最齊全的A&F就得來這家店, 整整三樓, 一樓為牛仔褲區, 二樓是男生區, 三樓則是女生區. 果然是flagship, 裡面的裝潢也跟其他家A&F不太一樣. 一進門就有一尊很大的大衛像. 有時夏天還會有光著上身的帥哥店員及穿著清涼的美女店員在門口歡迎你. 另外這裡的Barnes & Noble書店我認為是全LA最大最舒服的ㄧ家. 三層樓, 一樓賣雜誌, CD, DVD等, 二樓則是賣音樂, 電影, 藝術, 建築,手工藝品及烹飪等相關書籍. 在他們還沒有把桌椅移除前, 我總是在這邊念書, 看著經過的人來人往. (也被搭訕過很多次就是..ha...) 三樓則是賣些fiction, 工具書, 旅遊書, 電腦書, 商業書籍, self-improvement等所有種類的書. 同時還有兒童區. 另有賣文具的區域及starbucks. 這邊的starbucks有serve熱的食物, 如grilled chicken sandwich, panini等. 大家不妨可以試試. 除了超大的A&F, B&N外, 這邊的Victoria's Secret也很大, 跟Beverly Center的VS不相上下, 種類齊全. 
the Grove怎麼拍怎麼美. 白天美, 晚上也美. 很適合情侶來, 也適合把妹...ha..
當然, 來到the grove, 就得逛一逛這邊最出名的farmer's market. 走進去有點像台灣的夜市, 甚麼食物都有, 非常有異國風味.

Ok, 現在你對這裡的百貨公司大概有了些概念, 我們再回到mall這個主題吧.
這邊大部分的mall是由Simon及Westfield這兩個集團擁有,

LA有這麼多的mall, 我該從哪裡開始呢?....
不如, 我們依地理位置, 從西邊的mall開始吧--

Starting w the basics: shopping malls & outlets.

現在, 你對美國可看到的ㄧ些品牌有了基本的了解, 我們繼續往第二部分邁進--購物場所.
從基本的購物中心及暢貨中心開始吧. 

There are a so many shopping malls in LA, probably more than any other places in the country. Basically, malls are a group of brand stores linking with a few department stores, such as Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Macy’s, JC Penny, etc.
大ＬＡ有非常多的購物中心, 或許是美國境內最多購物中心的地區. 基本上, mall是由一群品牌的商店及些許百貨公司組成, 百貨公司在各個角落, 彼此之間由這些許多商店購成的長廊環繞而成.

First, let’s start with the BRANDS. 
現在, 就讓我們從第一部分的品牌開始介紹起吧.

When u come to the States, there are a few certain brands or brand stores that people will definitely tell you to check out. Here’s the list—
當你來到美國購物, 有些牌子是你一定要去看看的. 名單如下--

Time flies. It’s been 6 yrs since I came to LA.  Shopping is undoubtedly an essential part of my life.

I may not have as much money as all the celebs or the spoiled kids have, but that doesn’t stop me from exploring all the crazy shopping places in LA.

I mean, when u r in LA, the center of entertainment, the place of celebrities, the paradise of shopping, how can u not love shopping?!

轉眼間, 來洛杉磯已經6年, 購物也變成我生活中很重要的一部分.

或許我沒有像celebrities 或 LA有錢人家小孩有那麼多的錢天天逛街, 買名牌衣, 名牌包, 但是並不表示我不能像她們一樣到處去逛街.

當你在LA, 這個娛樂世界的中心, celebs充斥的城市, 購物的天堂, 你怎麼能不愛shopping?!

As the final day of me staying in LA is closing in, it’s time for me to wrap up my experiences here and give back to the city, to ppl who want to explore the city.

I will be writing a series of “my life in LA” articles, introducing the dining, fun and shopping in LA.

And of course, for a shopaholic like me, let me start with the shopping! Obviously, I definitely know where to shop. And trust me, you’d better grab a pen n ur notes, cuz u’ll have a lot to memorize!
